Event Details
This event is 100% FREE to attend for Veterans AND Volunteers! Funds are being raised for materials to complete the bus, which will be donated to a homeless Veteran to further the mission of the man responsible for this event, Keith D. Yennie II, USMC Retired Combat Veteran. Keith became one of the 22 a day on April 7th, 2022. It was his organization's mission to help both Veterans in crisis and domestic violence victims.
He set out to fundraise for his first bus shortly after forming his organization, Operation Got Your 6, in 2021. His aspiration was to convert school buses into homes for homeless Veterans and to build a mobile crisis unit that would travel to Veterans in crisis and assist them through their situation.
